Thanks for the favorite (of my still life with the brass pot). It looks like you and I use some similar oil techniques. I get critisized a lot by instructors for blending too much. They seem to think only chunky obvious paintstrokes are acceptable. Good to see I'm not alone.

The red water lily is particularly striking! Still lives are boring until you realize you can put objects in them that thrill you.
